Giveaway winner and a sneak peak from the preparations for Perla's birthday

I am always surprised with technology. The software I was using to run the giveaway, actually picks the winner of the giveaway for me. Drum roll.... And the winner is Sam Jessup!!! Congratulations Sam! Thank you all for participating in the giveaway.

Changing topics... From the title, you already know what I am going to talk about next. It is my baby's birthday tomorrow!!!! I have never been so excited for someone's birthday every before! I have tried to keep everything simple, and not go crazy and overboard but it is so hard.
It has been an incredible year for us! We talk about the day we welcomed our angel often. The moment I heard her voice for the first time and the moment I held her for the first time are the most precious moments of all my life. She was so perfect, so tiny, and she was ours. I can go on and on talking about Perla. Anyway, below is a picture of her just a couple of days old.

So, since her birthday is on a Wednesday, we are not going to do anything big. We have a cake and a candle for her, and her mom made her a little tutu and a headband for her to wear tomorrow. It's not finished yet, I am still working on her top. I thought making it would be cheaper than buying it. So here you go!

My next post will probably be again about Perla's birthday, but I hope you will understand. It's not everyday that a girl turns one year old, right?
